Our LOT DEPOSIT LOTTERY program for The Orchards of Cherokee Station will commence Saturday morning, December 9th at 10:00 AM at The Orchards of Big Creek clubhouse on Highway 9 in Alpharetta. Due to the overwhelming interest we have received for this new community, we are using this e mail to explain the process that we feel will be the most fair and equitable to all interested parties. We will open the door at 10:00 AM BUT the first hour will simply be to have some light refreshments and to ask any questions you might have. THERE IS NO NEED TO ARRIVE PRIOR TO 10:00 AM, IN FACT YOU CAN ARRIVE ANYTIME UP TO 10:55 AM. As all interested parties arrive we will hand you an index card on which you simply need to write your First and Last names. (One card per household). We will place all cards in a hat. At 11:00 AM we will begin the Lottery by drawing cards, one at a time that will determine your place in line on our Priority wait List. Please note: You WILL NOT be required to select a homesite at this time, as this Lottery is simply to establish your position in line. A $5000 FULLY REFUNDABLE deposit will be collected from you at this time to insure your position with an agreement signed to show receipt of your $5000 as well as defining your place in line. As we expect to have asphalt paving complete before Christmas, and because we will wait till paving is done before writing contracts, we will begin calling you in order of your Priority Wait List position to set up a time starting around January 8th ( subject to completion of the paving ) when you will be required to either enter into a Purchase Agreement for a specific HOMESITE AND FLOORPLAN within 72 hours of notification or to receive a refund of your $5000 deposit. This process is a departure from the “first come first served” procedure we have done in the past, but due to unknown winter weather conditions and the number of parties interested we feel this Lottery system is more equitable and fair. Monday – Wednesday and Saturday, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Sunday 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. CLOSED Thursdays and Fridays.
