One of those groups, the resident brunch club, recently collected both food and cash contributions to help provide Thanksgiving dinner to needy families.
All of the gifts that were collected, which included two gift baskets, seven cartons of food and $150 in gift certificates, were displayed at the Nov. 15 brunch. The donations were then given to Saint Benedict Church in Johns Creek, which distributed the food to families in need.
