A flurry of new construction is underway at one active adult community in Cumming, as more than 45 percent of the homes have been sold within the first 90 days! Located on Stoney Point Road just 1/4 mile south of Peachtree Parkway (Hwy 141) , The Orchards of Stoney Point has already sold 62 homes, and construction has already started on 32 of those homes.
The first five homes under construction showcase the community model homes, which are already 75 percent complete. Scheduled to open in middle to late January, the model homes include two ranch condominium plans from the Southern Heritage Collection and three master-on-the-main townhome villas from the Arbors Collection.
In addition to the five model homes, 27 sold homes are also under construction, and the builder has scheduled new home starts through the summer of 2015.
“With more than 60 homes now under contract, our production team has been given the green light to schedule more than 75 starts,” said Mitch Block, sales and marketing director for The Orchards Group. “We don’t expect this ongoing construction to slow down as we add more sales into the queue over the next four to five months.”
“Our ability to keep our contractors on our site every day for the next year or so not only makes my job easier, but it assures consistent quality control, which is one of our priorities,” said Jeff Bouland, project manager for The Orchards Group.
Upon completion, The Orchards of Stoney Point will have 130 total homes priced from the $270,000s through the $380,000s that are comprised of two unique collections. The Arbors Collection features master-on-the-main villa townhomes while the Southern Heritage Collection consists of ranch condominium plans.
In addition to beautiful homes, The Orchards of Stoney Point will offer fantastic amenities that perfectly complement the active adult lifestyle. These amenities include a grand clubhouse with a fitness center, card and games tables, a great room with a fireplace, gourmet kitchen and a large salt water swimming pool.
