East Cherokee Still HOT…HOT…HOT

The Orchards of East Cherokee, an active adult community built by The Orchards Group in Woodstock, has recently experienced a huge upswing in sales. This recent surge is a continuation of the community’s history of a steady sales pace, and has led to the builder’s decision to increase their inventory levels to meet demand.

Eleven homes have been sold since January, and 12 more are planned or under construction. Many buyers are looking for quick, move-in inventory as they sell their old homes and are looking for finished products. “Our buyers were having difficulty selling their existing home, which was quite frustrating to them.  But, recent improvements in the ‘resale’ market have catapulted our business, as these buyers can now move forward,” said Mitch Block, sales and marketing director for the company.

The Orchards of East Cherokee offers active adult buyers a pleasant mix of 92 ranch condominium homes and 48 single family homes. All of the homes are low to zero maintenance with beautifully appointed interiors. Residents enjoy access to amenities such as a grand clubhouse, pool, waterfall sitting plaza and grill area.  Ease of living in addition to great new friends and neighbors are the hallmarks of all of The Orchards Group’s neighborhoods.

The East Cherokee community is just a bit off the beaten path, a feature all of the residents enjoy.  “We are not in downtown anywhere, but still just 15 minutes or less from four local downtown areas: Alpharetta, Roswell, Historic Woodstock and Canton,” said Craig Smith, sales counselor for the company. Residents are also close to the largest Kroger in Cherokee County, located directly across the street, as well as additional shopping, dining, entertainment, recreation and healthcare options.
