The Orchards of Habersham Grove in Cumming, the sold out active adult community from The Orchards Group, has a tradition of making group day trips to local state parks or area attractions. Last month, community residents spent a day picnicking out on Lake Lanier.
The event, which was hosted by the community’s Men Club, attracted more than 60 homeowners and their family members. The men grilled delicious burgers and franks to accompany fresh salads and delicious desserts brought by each homeowner. All of the residents enjoy spending time talking, eating, boating and playing with their children and grandchildren as well as their neighbors. This was the second year that the community held this great event to kick off the summer season on the lake.
