Kapp Family

Living in an active adult community might just mean more space for festivities than you think! Just ask Ted and Kay Kapp.

The Kapp’s were among the first four families to move into The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm. The couple will have lived in this Atlanta active adult community for four years this coming October, said Kay Kapp.

The couple decided to move into Brannon Oak Farm for many reasons, but more living space was a main factor in their decision. “Our family basically all lives out of town, and family get-togethers are held at our house,” Kay explained. “This home afforded us more space to have them over.”

But having more space doesn’t mean that life is complicated for residents at Brannon Oak Farm. “We just love the ease of living,” Kay said.

This “ease of living” is made feasible and affordable for our residents. We offer trash removal, termite control, professional lawn care and irrigation- which Kay has especially grown to love- through the Home Owners Association.

As very active participants in the community’s social life, the couple enjoys attending the monthly meet and greets, attending every one they can when they are not out of town visiting family. Kay remarked that the meet and greets, brunches and potlucks are a great way for the couple to get to know new people who have moved in. She said, “We have really great neighbors!”

The couple enjoys regularly scheduled activities as well. Ted plays friendly rounds of golf with his friends, while Kay lunches with her women’s group and plays Bunco in the clubhouse.

Our other amenities at Brannon Oak Farm include a fitness center, gentlemen’s den, card and game rooms, gourmet kitchen and screening room. An outdoor swimming pool and barbecue grill allows the homeowners to relax and enjoy the warm weather.
