The Orchards Group is celebrating a successful 2014 with a total of 118 new homes sold in three metro Atlanta active adult communities! The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm in Cumming saw 15 sales, which resulted in the community being sold out, while The Orchards of East Cherokee had 41 new home sales, which also resulted in the community being sold out. In late summer 2014, the builder opened its newest community, The Orchards of Stoney Point in Cumming. Since its opening, the community has seen 62 new home sales this year!
The total home sales seen by The Orchards Group in 2014 represents a 38 percent increase over 2013’s total sales. Additionally, 81 homes were closed in 2014, representing a 15 percent increase over the total number of closings in 2013.

The Orchards Group has been a leader in Atlanta’s active adult market since 1998, with nearly 2,000 homes built and sold to date. With two communities selling out in 2014 and such a strong start at The Orchards of Stoney Point, The Orchards Group hopes to announce the grand opening of at least one new property in 2015. In addition, the builder continues to search for additional prospective new locations to build around metro Atlanta.
Currently, The Orchards of Stoney Point is the builder’s only community in metro Atlanta. Located in Cumming, the community will have 130 total homes. Offering two collections of home plans, these new active adult homes are priced from the $270,000s through the $380,000s. The home plans include the Arbors Collection, featuring master-on-the-main townhome villas, and the Southern Heritage Collection, which is comprised of ranch condominium homes.
