Want to Know Your New Neighbors ?

Moving into a new residence can be a difficult process at any age. If you’re going to an active adult community, switching homes may mean leaving behind the neighbors you’ve had for the past 30 years. So to help turn a potentially stressful experience into a positive one and to put your mind at ease, The Orchards Group holds monthly Meet and Greets at every community.

These Meet and Greets allow new homeowners who have just moved in or are under contract to meet their new neighbors in a casual setting. You can even bring family or friends to the event to help you feel more comfortable.

No matter which event you attend, you’re sure to meet many wonderful individuals. Plus, there are always neat activities available for people to get to know one another. Some past activities have included sampling hors d’oeuvres and wine, playing trivia, bingo, pizza parties, playing video games on the Wii and even watching a Frank Sinatra impersonator.

All of these things are done to give you a sense of what it means to live at an Orchards Group community. Whether you live at Habersham Grove, Brannon Oak Farm or The Orchards of East Cherokee, you’ll find a neighborhood that welcomes you with open arms because everyone understands what it’s like to be a new resident. And once you move in, you’ll find yourself becoming a part of the community before you know it.

And who knows, maybe the next time you attend a Meet and Greet, you’ll be the seasoned homeowner introducing yourself to new residents.
